The grout permeates the material and cures, often in seconds to minutes, to form a waterproof barrier or a strengthened soil mass, without excavation and without adding significant structural load.

Polyurethane Grouts (most common). Water-activated resins that expand on contact with water.
Hydrophobic (water-repelling): Expand rapidly into a rigid, closed-cell foam. Best suited to high-volume inflow and void filling, and to rigid, non-moving structural cracks. They do not shrink on drying and are unaffected by wet-dry cycling.
Hydrophilic (water-loving): Expand to form a flexible, water-activated gel. Preferred for active leak control in saturated environments and for sealing fine or moving cracks and joints, where flexibility matters. They require sustained moisture to avoid shrinkage.
Acrylamide-based gel grouts. Extremely low viscosity, close to that of water. This lets them permeate micro-cracks and tight soil matrices, and form external curtain barriers behind a structure. Flexible and resilient, they are used to stop infiltration in sanitary sewers, manholes, and below-grade structures by creating an impermeable barrier in the surrounding soil.
Acrylate gel grouts. Low-viscosity gels used for permeation in fine soils and for curtain grouting. Selected where a flexible, durable gel barrier is required and where chemical resistance and resilience are priorities.
